Originally posted by rorgfist:If you focus on fight, you are going to have trouble beating the spirit or wits-based perils in the palace. Would be wise to look up a guide, but this is more than less the main idea of focuses in game. I also aim for rot victorys on most of the characters that use magic since most rot cards are in the magic deck.Ģ) also many cards have healing qualities so its pretty hard to die from rot dmgĪlways have atleast two objectives, one being prestige and the other being (spirit, rot, or normal fight) also the special case of rivers passive you can win that way. (Ring ability)ġ) mostly everyone starts with low gold, so magic is easy to obtain.Ģ) with high wits comes a high magic count I tend to play characters that gain magic for burned spell cards. * peril focus ( Trap your oppenents so they cant go anywhere) * rot focus ( once you get 6 rots banes are nothing, so no pve is a challenge) * spirit stone focus ( how the more passive classes tend to win) * king focus ( How most combat class win like thane) * pve focus ( More prestige plus burning cards) (King's guards are weak af) * pvp focus ( slaying other players gives gold & prestige) Unless you have high wits or spirit to break in early. You can also look through the Item and Magic deck for healing potions and spells.įirst follow your 4 quests til the palace opens for you ![]() You can also gain Rot from killing Banes and guards. When fighting the King, I'd recommend burning as many card symbols as possible rather than relying on the mercy of RNGesus.įor the Rot question, basically so. His Explode Pool also increases with each passing night, so when he's nearly dead, he can wreck you badly with some lucky strings of Rot rolls. That's why it sometimes seems like he has more than 7 dice. His equipment not only allows him to use Wylds as Shields, but also take any dice you miss and roll them as his own. What makes him even more so is his ever-growing Explode Pool and his equipment. The King's Fight is 7, so the old cat's already pretty dangerous. I'd suggest a minimum of 5 Wit by the end-game. For the cards in hand problem, you simply need to increase your Wits through quests. For the Spirit perils, Wlyd, Sun, Moon, Rot. For the Wits perils, the symbols are Wyld, Sword, Shield, Rot. Also, the Peril symbols in the Palace are always the same unless someone played Cursed Lands to them. Once you complete 4 quests, you will be given a fifth quest which gives you unconditional access to the Palace. He wants to make his total wager go up alot without losing too much money.Oh, your first question was also one I didn't have the answer to when I was a new player. please read the original post he doesn't want to make profit or all in or increase on loss etc. I recommend testing on here with throwaway coins (aka faucet Doge) betting overnight and seeing just how accurate the result statistics are.Įdit: Lol everyone who posted below. ![]() ![]() I actually would prefer the 2x method since while chasing challenges I've seen quite a few loss streaks while betting 1.01x, definitely seemed like a higher rate than 1% losing. Looks pretty sus haha but I'm no mathematician. I'm not sure if the house edge gets affected the lower payout you choose. Their dice offers a 1.0001x payout lol so I might use that. So in the long run you'll be making more bets with the 1.01x strategy before reaching 0. The 1.01x strategy seems better for wagering cause for every 100 bets you are expected to lose your base bet whilst for the 2x payout every 2 bets. Those were the two strategies I was contemplating to use. ![]()
